An engagement could be in Britney Spears‘s future after her boyfriend Sam Asghari was spotted ring shopping this week.
The personal trainer turned actor was photographed by paparazzi browsing the jewelry counter at Cartier in Los Angeles on Thursday. Over the course of the shopping trip, Asghari could be seen asking a sales attendant to take several pieces out of the display case for him to take a closer look at, including a diamond ring. He also snapped a number of photographs of pieces he seemed particularly interested in. It’s unclear whether or not he actually purchased anything in the end, but Asghari and Spears have made no secret about their strong affection for one another. Just last week the pop star shared a little tribute to her boyfriend on her Instagram account, posting a photo of them together alongside a caption that read, “Not only has this cute asshole been with me through both the hardest and the best years of my life but he happens to be an extremely good cook!” To which Asghari jokingly replied, “Yes F that asshole,” with a crying laughing emoji.
Both have also previously said that they are very much ready to settle down and start a family together. In an interview with Forbes in March, Asghari said, “My priorities in life are to remain humble and understand where I came from and where I’m going. I want to take my career to the next step when it comes to acting. I want to take my relationship to the next step, as well. I don’t mind becoming a father. I want to be a young dad.” That sentiment was one Spears also shared during her moving testimony at her conservatorship hearing in June, claiming, “I have an IUD inside of myself right now so I don’t get pregnant. I wanted to take the IUD out so I could start trying to have another baby. But this so-called team won’t let me go to the doctor to take it out because they don’t want me to have any more children.” She went on to tell the court, “I want to be able to get married and have a baby. I was told right now in the conservatorship, I’m not able to get married or have a baby.”
